My goal is to capture the unexpected, the ordinary, and the unnoticed. I use my odd collection of cameras to experiment with format, film, and juxtaposition. I'm driven to share my love of the southwest - its light and landcapes, the interestingness in what many perceive as the emptiness, and evidence of the histories and cultures that have collided here. I am drawn to the grit, beauty, and truth of the street, and often seek out spaces that are forgotten and crumbling. I've always seen the world through rainbow-colored glasses, so an eye for color is ever-present in my work. I am especially partial to graphic statements, layers, reflections, symmetry and unusual compositions. I don't worry about rules; I take photos I want to look at.
